Brandye will give a presentation about the Buffalo Building Reuse Project (BBRP). BUDC spearheads this initiative and it focuses on adaptive reuse projects, streetscape and infrastructure improvements, residential growth, and the development of tools and incentives for Downtown projects among many other things. She will also talk about how BUDC launched the Queen City Pop-Up program in partnership with Mayor Byron W. Brown, Buffalo Place & Working For Downtown to attract small business retail and to activate empty storefronts along Main Street in Downtown Buffalo.

Buffalo Walks – Larkinville Distilling & Brewery Tour

In the early 1800’s, with the transport of grain brought breweries like Iroquois and Simon Pure, along with malting companies.  Beer oriented development has recently resurrected, and our selection of breweries and distilleries for this tour are relocated in the heart of the Hydraulics, a.k.a. Larkinville.  Come join us and experience the resurgence of breweries at this fun walking tour event!

Buffalo Walks Tours – Silo City

Come join us for a walking tour of the Silo City.  Due to the positive reviews we had last year, we are offering this tour again. The Silo City Campus contains the evolved development of the grain industry as it entered the 20th century.

Tour is at grade, in and around the Perot, Malthouse, and Marine A Elevator with Jim Watkins “Steward of Silo City”.
