
2018 Annual Meeting
Join us Tuesday, June 26, 2018 for our Annual Meeting, Awards Ceremony and Election of Officers. This year’s full breakfast will begin promptly at 8:00 am with registration starting at 7:45 am and will end at 9:00 am at the Tewksbury Lodge located at 249 Ohio St, Buffalo, NY 14204. Parking is free in the lot and along Ohio Street.
This year’s keynote speaker will be Buffalo Zoo President and CEO, Norah Fletchall. Norah will provide an update on recent completed projects, upcoming exhibit renovations, and their newest animals. She will also share with us her vision and strategic plan for the zoo’s future.
We will also present our annual awards to those individuals and organizations that have made a significant difference in our community.

Buffalo Talks – Bikes in Buffalo – May 2, 2018
GObike Buffalo promotes and supports biking in the City of Buffalo. They promote healthier modes of transportation through biking and creating safe biking in the city. GObike sponsors SkyRide in the spring and the Slow Roll weekly in the summer, as well as many other events.

Buffalo Promise Neighborhood is a designated community school zone, now operating three schools: Westminster Community Charter School, Highgate Heights Elementary and Buffalo Promise Neighborhood Children’s Academy. A second Children’s Academy is currently under development and is slated to open in 2018. We recognize when parents and children have opportunity to succeed, families and the community around them are able to thrive.
