Thursday's In The City

In the Fall of 2000, Working For Downtown partnered with the New Millennium Group to bring Thursdays in the City to Downtown Buffalo. The kickoff party was November 30, 2000 at the Empire Brewing Company. After the demise of the collaboration, Working For Downtown has continued to present this popular networking event on Thursday evenings at a downtown restaurant.

Thursdays in the City (TITC) is a great way to mingle with members of Working For Downtown, get to know what we're all about and relax with friends as the workweek comes to a close. Everyone is welcome to attend our weekly event that runs 5-8pm every Thursday from September through the end of April. Bring friends, family or coworkers to enjoy drink specials on house wines, beer and cocktails along with an assortment of complimentary hors d'oeuvres. Don't forget to bring your business card. Every week there's a drawing for a free dinner for two at the TITC location!

We invite other groups to join us for a special Thursday in the City! It's a great joint event where your group is our featured guest. Organizations who have joined us in the past include BNI, Buffalo By Choice (aka Old Home Week), Hunt Real Estate, Hospice and Kaleida. Feel free to bring materials to set up a display table to show what you're all about. Or look at our calendar for upcoming events you might want to attend for networking. Our event with Hunt Real Estate was a great way for mortgage reps to meet realtors for new referrals.
