Thursday's In The City

Thursday's in the City (TITC) is a great way to mingle with members of Working For Downtown, get to know what we're all about and relax with friends as the workweek comes to a close. Everyone is welcome to attend our weekly event that runs 5-8pm every Thursday from September through the end of April. Bring friends, family or coworkers to enjoy drink specials on house wines, beer and cocktails along with an assortment of complimentary hors d'oeuvres.

We would love to have another group your involved with join us for a special Thursday in the City! It's a great joint event where your group is our featured guest. Organizations who have joined us in the past include BNI, Buffalo By Choice (aka Old Home Week), Hunt, Hospice and Kaleida. Feel free to bring materials to set up a display table to show what you're all about. Or look at our calendar for upcoming events you might want to attend for networking. Our event with Hunt was a great way for mortgage reps to meet realtors for new referrals. If you would like to set up an event for your group please contact WFD.

Don't forget to bring your business card too. Every week there's a drawing for dinner for two at the TITC location! Dinner includes one appetizer, two entrees and one round of drinks! Plus, the winner will also get a Friday Happy Hour Party courtesy of the TITC location. The party includes one hour of hors d'oeuvres and one free drink coupon for every member of their party (good for well liquor, house wines and domestic bottles).

We host TITC at a restaurant/bar in downtown Buffalo where we're able to support local business and help carry out our mission to improve living, working and playing in Buffalo. For the 2008-2009 season, TITC was hosted at The Stillwater at 483 Delaware Avenue. Locations in the past also include Bacchus at 54 W Chippewa Street and Century Grill at 320 Pearl Street.
