Program Committee Summary:

The Program Committee is responsible for the overall planning and oversight of all Working for Downtown events, as listed below:

The Brown Bag Luncheon Series is held on the first Wednesday of the month from September through May. The event is held at the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library, and is free to the public. As the name implies, attendees are welcome to bring their own lunch or may pre-pay for a "Box Lunch" that will be waiting for them when they arrive.

The purpose of the event is to present timely subjects in an informal atmosphere, affording attendees a genuine interaction with the speakers. The series focuses on City and Downtown, with past series featuring Downtown Developers, Business Leaders, Waterfront Development, Cultural Heritage and Educational Leaders.

Working for Downtown members automatically receive invitations and speaker information. Non-members can sign up to receive invitations by sending an email with complete contact information to ecommunications@workingfordowntown.org, with Brown Bag Blast in the subject line.
